| Etta Lou "Lucy" (Wilson) Ferrell, 91, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away peacefully at her home the morning of December 30, 2017.
She was born August 1, 1926, in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Ruth (Hosey) Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Ferrell; son Larry Hamas; sister Lorene Kemper and one brother, Dewayne Wilson.
Lucy was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, working in the yard, and spending time with her family who meant so much to her.
Survivors include her two sons, Gary Ferrell of Parkersburg, Randy Ferrell and his wife Debbie of Parkersburg; grandchildren Kris Ferrell of Parkersburg, Lia Renner and her husband Jared of Parkersburg, David Ferrell of Parkersburg; two great-grandchildren Sage and Claire Renner and several nieces and nephews whom she loved so much.
A celebration of Etta's life will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018 and from 12 p.m. until the time of service on Friday. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens. |
