"Christmas in Arnoldsburg" is coming to Arnoldsburg Elementary School Gym on Saturday, December 2 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. - a free give away of items to the community, no strings attached.
The give-a-way is a mission project of the Woodlawn Baptist Church of Hickory NC.
"My daughter Maggie
Fulbright went on a mission trip to
Arnoldsburg to help with Bible School this
summer. When she came back and told us how
excited the children and the whole town
of Arnoldsburg was glad to see them," said Donna Fulbright, whose family owns CVS Transport Of NC Inc.
"We
started collecting things from our church
Woodlawn Baptist, friends, family and other
churches to bring for Christmas in
Arnoldsburg," she said.
"Our prayer is that
the entire community will be as blessed by
receiving these items as we have been blessed by
our people donating them," said Fulbright.
Items for the give-a-way include men, women and children's clothing, jackets, shoes, kitchen items, decorations, baby items, and furniture.
"We are welcoming the entire community," she concluded.
