A former postmaster at Mt. Zion, serving
25 years in the position, has died at age 91
Betty Fern Holpp Weaver, 91, Grantsville, known for her steadfastness and dedication to her family, had also been in the store business in Arnoldsburg and Ravenswood with her late husband, Lauren Weaver, in the late 1940's and 50's.
She was a 4-H leader, UMYF leader, Sunday School teacher and the oldest living member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held Friday November 17, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation in Arnoldsburg.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday November 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Rick Metheny officiating.
Burial will be held at St. Paul Cemetery, Mt Zion.
