| The suspect in the armed robbery of the City National Bank in Gassaway has died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His
body was discovered by authorities Sunday evening in the bathtub of his mother's home in Gassaway.
Dead is 23-year-old Christopher Ramsey.
Bank surveillance cameras caught the unmasked image of Ramsey last October when he entered the bank shortly before
closing and demanded money from employees.
Braxton Sheriff Howard Carpenter said family sources indicted Ramsey had contemplated turning himself into authorities
after he fled to Kentucky and Ohio.
