TOWN OF GRANTSVILLE, YEAR OF OUR LORD 2017 - High Sky Photos By Quentin Murphy | (04/02/2024) |
The Town of Grantsville, the county seat of Calhoun, has faded
from its former glory with a population of about 1,200 in 1940
to less than 600 people today, a once thriving business community
is gone,
the route of many Appalachian towns, although in comparison Grantsville still
looks pretty good. (Photos courtesy of Quentin Murphy)
