DANIELS RUN NEWS 1923-36 - Foxhunters And Horsetraders Meet

Uncle George Gibson departed this life Aug. 11th, and was buried Tuesday Aug 12th., at the home cemetery, funeral services were held by Rev. Kerby. A large crowd attended the funeral.

Miss Orpha Craddock, left Tuesday for Akron Ohio.

We understand there will be a horse-traders reunion at A.B. Starcher's on Daniels Run the 31st of Aug. and the first day of Sept. All are invited to attend.

March 4, 1926

The Daniels Run school is progressing nicely with a large attendance. Holly Nester is the teacher.

Tom Smith of Barberton, Ohio was badly hurt while making a flying switch. He slipped and fell on the switch post.

Mrs. Siluce Geho of Barberton, Ohio who has been ill for some time is better.

The Sunday School at Stony Point is progressing nicely, having a large attendance.

Mr. and Mrs. Charley Starcher were the Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Starcher.

Mr. and Mrs. John Crawford were the Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Morgan.

Misses Opal and Beulah Starcher were calling on Miss Edna Nester Sunday.

Mrs. Barr and Mrs. Lovel Allen were Sunday guests of Mrs. Billy Nester.

J.W. Allen, Charley Starcher and Ferris Barr attended the Fox Hunters Association meeting at Grantsville, Saturday, February 27.

Miss Lenora Starcher, who has been sick for some time, is better.
