Simond Whitesell has got a fine clearing on hand which helps to improve his farm.
A. Thomas our new merchant is doing a thriving business selling goods at this writing.
Steve Crawford and Flint Stockwell two of our industrious young men are driving teams for W.M. Lillen.
Jim Hopkins and wife are visiting friends at Claria.
Amos Gibson passed through our town Monday morning enroute for home.
Lapheus Goff one of our neighbor boys started to Idaho last Saturday.
We hear that Guy Bailey has bought Alpheus Nesters big mule, Guy is going to farm this summer.
John Starcher lost a fine calf last week, it was caused by too much green grass.
E.K. Morgan has moved his sawmill to the right hand fork of Daniels run.

We the people of Lee district Sub. No 18 are endeavoring to buy a school library at this place and are to have a box supper for that purpose, on Nov. 21, 1903, when a program will be presented.

This box supper will be at the new school house on Daniels run. Every body is cordially invited to come. The ladies will please bring a box and the gentlemen buy them, price 25 cents. Also there will be some cakes for sale.
