A 17-year-old Clay teenager was injured after a shooting in Clay County Friday night, according to West Virginia State Police.
Police have identified the shooter as Daniel Craddock, 26, of Wallback. The victims name has not been released.
Troopers say Craddock shot the teenager in the leg at a get together or party along Coleman Drive in the Lizemore area.
The suspect and victim were "acquaintances" according to troopers. Neither one live at the home where the alleged crime happened.
Craddock was not at the home when troopers arrived, but investigators say he returned to the home while officers were there securing the scene and he was arrested without incident.
The victim was flown to CAMC General with non-life threatening injuries.
Craddock was charged with malicious wounding and is being held on $100,000 bond.
Troopers are still investigating the motive.
