| Police in Braxton County say Justin Conner was swinging a machete "wildly" when they got on scene after a 911 call, and then threw it in their direction when they told him to drop it.
Conner allegedly hit an officer in the head with his fist and tried to steal his pepper spray and taser.
A neighbor supposedly told the officers Conner had previously threatened to burn down his house .
Police say he admitted to being on drugs at the time.
He is in Central Regional Jail.
