Calhoun High student basketball player Makayla Smith, the daughter of Randal and Kandas Smith, scored her 1,000th against Wood County Christian on January 17.
As a freshman she was third team in the All-LKC and her sophomore year she was on the 2nd team All-LKC in addition to honorable mention All- State.
Fitzwater said Makayla was a third team All-State player last season along with first team All-LKC as a junior.
