LKVCS will be holding its next parent/community meeting Friday, June 17th at 6:00 p.m. This will be a picnic held at the school's facilities and will be a time to meet and sit down with the teachers, volunteers, board members, and vision committee to a nice meal.
This will also give many in the community who would like to volunteer or assist in any way to submit their volunteer forms; plus, give those parents of K-8th grade a chance to talk with the staff about enrollment.
LKVCS has extended its enrollment to include the 7th and 8th grades, so that more of the children in our communities can have the opportunity of a Christian education. Churches are also invited so that those who have plans of sponsoring a student will be given the opportunity to do so.
The staff will also be able to talk about all that has been going on since the last public meeting: school calendar, food program, start/end times for the school day, transportation arrangements, student handbook, etc. There's so much to discuss and plan, so please plan on attending this valuable and fun-filled evening.
We are in hopes of building a family atmosphere at LKVCS and think this is a great start to just that. Please do bring your children so that they can enjoy their new school and check out their classrooms.
So mark your calendar and come out for an evening of good fellowship, good food, and answers to all your questions about the Little Kanawha Valley Christian School. Please RSVP at admissions@lkvchristianschool.com just so that plenty of food is prepared.
