Kose Whytsell, 78, of Parkersburg passed
away May 24, 2016 at Muskingum Valley Nursing
Center, Beverly, Ohio.
He was born July 20, 1937 at Calhoun County
a son of the late Simon Clinton and Laura Kerby
Whytsell.
He retired in 1995 from G.E.
Plastics.
Kose was a U.S. Army veteran having
served in Germany. His life was centered around
his grandchildren and their activities.
Kose is survived by his wife, Emma Joan
Satterfield Whytsell; one daughter, Cheryl L.
Himelrick (John) of Parkersburg; two sons, Harold
D. Whytsell (Cyndi) of Mineral Wells and Clinton
Whytsell of Parkersburg; two sisters, Geneva
Morgan of Georgia and Katherine "Kate" Ladd
(Harold) of Cutler, Ohio; and five grandchildren,
Ryan, Jake, Chad, Dustin, Coltant and Bryce.
In addition to his parents, he was
preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and
Eugene; and two sisters, Louise Nevitt and Jewell
Marsh.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday,
May 27, 2016 at the Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010
Murdoch Ave., Parkersburg. Pastor Dwane Porter
will officiate and interment with full military
honors by American Legion, Parkersburg Post 15
will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.
The family
will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday
and one hour before services on Friday at the
funeral home.
