The beautiful girls of the Heartwood in the Hills Performing Arts Company will be dancing for the Calhoun County Community at 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, in front of the Calhoun County Courthouse in Grantsville as part of the street entertainment for the Wood Festival.
Rehearsals have been going on all spring and they are nearly ready! Dancers will also be in the Wood Festival parade, begins at 11:30 a.m., and a Mask Parade and Salutation will be in front of the courthouse as the parade ends.
Saturday rehearsal included a lot of work on the "Boot Dance" and also required a lot of note taking and studying - there is a lot more to performing than just dance. The girls are learning so much about performance skills, discipline, focus and fun.
