A record number of early voters for this election season has been reported Saturday evening by County Clerk Jean Simers.
Simers said 670 people had cast early votes by the close of the day Saturday, the last day for early voting.
More than 100,000 West Virginia residents cast their ballot during the early voting period, setting a record for early voting in a primary election.
Polls open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Calhoun polling places remain the same.
