| Harold Eugene Ritchie, 77, of Five Forks, West Virginia, died Saturday at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg.
Born in Grantsville, May 14, 1938 he was a son of the late Denver and Mary Sole Ritchie.
He was a 1958 graduate of Calhoun County High School, and was employed by Cabot gas right of way maintenance for several years. Eugene later cared for both of his parents and enjoyed hobby electronics, Dobro guitars, metal detecting and auctions with his friends.
He was preceded in death by both parents and a brother, William Ray Ritchie.
Surviving are one niece Nicole Hopkins (Jody), of Tuscarawas, Ohio; and a nephew Bret Ritchie (Kelly) of Five Forks, WV. Sister in law, Peggy Ritchie of Five Forks, WV and a special great-grand niece Ashlynn Ritchie.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm April 29, 2016 at the Broomstick cemetery with Reverend Barry Miller officiating. Interment will follow services. Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. |
