Minnie Hamilton Health System announces that Dr. Chadwick Smith will be leaving the program to pursue other opportunities.
"We appreciate the service he has provided to our patients over the years, and wish him well on his future endeavors," said MHHS CEO Steve Whited,
To fill the void created by his absence, the administrative team has been working diligently to identify and recruit candidates for placement in MHHS clinics.
Dr. Smith's last day on site will be April 29th.
"We are confident that we can accommodate and continue to provide dependable clinical services to each and every patient. We are committed to the success of the organization and the provision of health care to all who access and utilize our organization," said Whited.
"We will continue to work with each other and with each of you to be your choice for health care services. Thank you to each and every patient we serve. We look forward to the opportunities that you will bring back to us in the not so distant future. Please contact me at 304-354-9244 if you have any questions," concluded Whited.
MHHS is pleased to announce that Dr. Suresh Balasubramony is returning to Minnie Hamilton Health System this spring in a limited capacity.
As communicated last August, Dr. Suresh has been pursuing a two-year long fellowship in Nephrology.
As he approaches the halfway point of his fellowship, Dr. Suresh will be returning to our practice on a limited schedule to work with patients meeting some specific criteria. Qualifying patients will be contacted by our registration department to schedule an appointment.
Whited said, "We are excited about Dr. Suresh's limited return to Minnie Hamilton, and look forward to his successful completion of his Nephrology fellowship and full time return to our practice in the summer of 2017.
