Melvin Bradley Wilson, 66, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at the VAMC, Pittsburgh, Penn.
He was born April 22, 1949, at Spencer, a son of the late Melvin V. and Rhonda Elaine Wright Wilson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph 'Huck' Wilson.
Bradley was a retired bricklayer. He was a proud Army veteran of the Viet Nam War and a member of the V.F.W. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and dedicated family man. Bradley enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was also a member of the NRA.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Carolyn J. Wilson; daughter, Jennifer Wilson of Spencer; son, Michael Wilson of Spencer; three grandchildren, Michael "Bradley" Wilson, Melvin "Briar" Wilson and Kelsie Jean Shreve; great granddaughter, Dixie Lynn Shreve; brother, Gary "Henry" Wilson of Calhoun County; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, April 24 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, followed by a funeral service with Rev. Mike Richardson and Charles McKown officiating. Military Honors will be accorded by the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
