Sidney K. Petit Mace, 95, of Spencer (04/19/2016) Sidney K. Petit Mace, 95, of Spencer, West Virginia, went to be with our Lord on April 14, 2016. She was born September 25, 1920 to Brooks and Bessie Pettit of Amma, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Charles R. Mace; her brothers and sisters, Harry, Walter , and Clyde Pettit, Mabel Honaker, and Ruth King; and her grandchildren, Cheri and Rick Mace, Sidney is survived by her beloved sons, Jeff Mace of Spencer and Chuck Mace, Jr. Of Glendale, Arizona; four grandchildren, Corey, Cathy, Christy, and Carin; and nine great-grandchildren. Sidney had over 49 years of service in the banking industry beginning with the Roane County Bank and retiring in 1990 fro the First National Bank. She was a member of Wetzel Chapter #27, Order of the Eastern Star for 66 ½ years where she was a past Grand Worthy Matron and had countless hours working with the Rainbow Girls. Service will be at 2:00pm on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, with Rev. Homer Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in the Eventide Cemetery in Spencer. Visiting will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
