Mary J. Fountaine, 81, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Saturday, February 20, 2016, at the CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.
She was born June 13, 1934, at Racine, Ohio, a daughter of the late Aaron Moses "A.M." Grady and the late Mary B. Duskey Grady.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Faye Fountaine; three granddaughters, Andrea Bowers Stone, Tabatha Nicole Reed and Tricia Dillon Fountaine; one great granddaughter, Carly Boggs; three brothers, Harold, Dewayne and Dwight Grady; six sisters, Juanita Grady, Wanda Powell, Rachel Knight, Ruth Smith, Emma Scarberry and Betty Reed.
Survivors include her children, Roger and wife, Analee Fountaine of Spencer, Janie and husband, Art Boggs of Gandeeville WV, Randy and wife, Shelba Fountaine also of Spencer, Terri and husband, Claude Lineberry of Staley NC, Rick and wife, Patty Fountaine of Elizabeth WV, Joanna and husband, Jerry Moore of Reedy WV, Ronnie Fountaine and Regina Gibson of Liverpool WV, Tammy and husband, Chris Blosser of Clover WV, Trina and husband, David Satterfield of Spencer; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Luda Arnott of Florida; three brothers, Clark Grady of Indiana, Blaine Grady of Washington and Walter Grady of Georgia; Jack Russell Terrier, Abby.
Mary was a retired employee of Roane General Hospital and a former employee of Kellwood Corp. She was also a former member of the Roane General Hospital Auxiliary and had formerly attended the Reedy Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 23 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Randy Whited officiating. Burial will be in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
