HOLDS AT GUNPOINT - A Lincoln Co. man is facing charges after holding his wife at gunpoint at Yawkey.
Sgt. G.H. Ellis II, and Trooper J.B. Grose say that James Saul, 42, is under arrest facing several charges including kidnapping.
According to WVSP Saul got into a physical and verbal fight with his wife. He went outside and returned with a 12 guage shotgun. They say he then held her against a wall and told her she wasn't allowed to leave the home.
Troopers say she had recently filed for a protective order against her husband but it had not been served yet.
Troopers say in the time that Saul went outside to get the gun he slashed the tires on his wife's car and cut the phone lines.
At the time of the incident, members of the victim's family and minors were in the home.
One of them was able to call for help on a cell phone.
When Saul got word he took off. He was arrested without incident during a traffic stop.
