Critter Dinner from far and wide
Democrat Assessor Jason Nettles being
refined by well established Republicans Bill Davis(L) and Charlie McKown (R)
The dinner, besides critter meat and fixin's,
is a time to tell some backwoods tale
Did we eat snake meat and din't know it?
The Bear Fork Hunting Club with lots of family members and guests chowed down on wild animal meat with lots of fixins' Saturday night at the Arnoldsburg Community Center, with folks coming from everywhere, including out of state.
Also in the crowd was an ample number of folks seeking votes in the 2016 election.
An ample choice of cake
The table food included a variety of wild critters.
The private hunting club leases several thousand of acres in the Bear Fork backwoods, written about in a fifteen part series for The Hur Herald.
Those tales and a large number of early dated photos are to be published in an upcoming book by Bob Weaver - "Tales of Bear Fork."
