| Four State Police units responded to a 911 call at 7:42 a.m. Sunday, the caller said he and his eight-year-old son was being held hostage at gunpoint by several individuals.
The officers responded to the remote Rush Mountain area of the Left Fork of Crummies Creek.
Officers reported the situation appeared under control when they arrived, indicating the incident was likely related to drug usage.
No one was arrested.
State Police arrested a Big Bend man Sunday and incarcerated him in Central Regional Jail.
Ronald O. Huffman, 60, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession, and driving revoked, 2nd offense.
Huffman posted bond and was released. |
