| Gerald W. Lesher, 78, of Gandeeville, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at home.
He was born February 26, 1937 in Fayette County, a son of the late Cary and Roxie Goodwin Lesher. He was a retired coal miner and a veteran of the U. S.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Miller Lesher; daughters, Connie Workman, Alice and Tiffany Bryant, all of Logan, West Virginia; sons, Roney Lesher, Sr. and Roney Lesher, Jr., both of Logan; his siblings, Susie, Bill, Melvin, Jess, and Robert; sixteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Patsy Marcum Lesher; a son, Timothy Lesher; and his siblings, Patricia, David, and Linda.
Service will be at noon on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, West Virginia with Rev. Kenneth Vance officiating. Burial will follow in the Lesher Cemetery on the family farm. Visiting will be two hours prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. |
