WOMAN SHOOTS HUSBAND - A woman has been detained after she called 911 to report she shot her husband, according to Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies.
The shooting was reported at 11:42 a.m. Thursday on Davis Creek.
According to a news release, the woman called 911 to report she shot her husband. Also, during the 911 calls it was said four people were in the house at the time of the shooting.
Neighbors also dialed 911 to report hearing gunshots.
The victim was taken from the scene and brought down the street to meet an ambulance. EMS then took him to CAMC General.
His condition is unknown at this time.
Detectives are interviewing those present at the time of the shooting and collecting evidence.
No charges have been filed.
FELON THREATENS WITH GUN - A Cabell County convicted felon faces new charges after allegedly using a gun to threaten his family before firing shots into the ceiling at a home in Ona.
Detectives with the Cabell County Sheriff's Office say Hi C. Williamson, 65, was drunk when he used a gun to threaten his daughter and her two children.
Williamson then allegedly fired the gun into the ceiling of the home and demanded his daughter and grandchildren leave. No one was hurt during the incident.
Williamson was arrested and faces a felony charge of wanton endangerment. He is also a convicted felon, having previously served three years in prison.
Child Protective Services removed the children from the home pending the outcome of the case.
TWO STABBED IN CHARLESTON - Two people have been stabbed on Charleston's west side at 7 p.m. Thursday. Reports not available on their condition or the nature of the incident.
