| Martha Belle Lemon, 88, of Parkersburg WV, passed away January 25, 2016 at Parkersburg Care Center after an extended illness.
Martha was born April 25, 1927 the daughter of the late Luther and Fannie Belt.
She was a devoted Christian, she attended the Fort Borman House of Pray of Parkersburg WV.
She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, and spending time with her family.
she is survived by her children, Marvin Lemon (wife Mary) of Little Hocking OH, Bernard Lemon (wife Ginny) of Parkersburg; brothers, Warren Belt (wife Carolyn) of Mineral Wells WV,
Oliver Belt (wife Lorena) of Elizabeth WV;
sisters, Louise Echard (husband Denzil) of Parkersburg,
Joann Nemeth of Burning Springs WV;
brother-in-law, Tom Lemon of Texas;
5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild;
several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Lemon; son, Steven Lemon; brothers, Almond Belt and David Belt; and sister, Lavada Lindley.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 29, 2016 at Matheny Whited funeral Home of Elizabeth WV with Pastor Denzil Ray officiating. Visitation will be Thursday January 28, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Rector Cemetery, Burning Springs WV.
