William Eric Franklin, 32, of Decatur, IL, passed away Friday, January 8, 2016.
William was born October 11, 1983 in Decatur, IL, the son of William J. and Kathie A. (Starcher) Franklin.
He owned and operated "Will Move You" business, and also was a painter for Trinity Industrial Towers, a manufacturer of windmills. William liked dancing with his kids in the kitchen while cooking dinner, enjoyed Harry Potter, was brilliant at math, and his favorite pastime was being with his niece. He was a member of Camp Wilson Foursquare Church, Harristown, IL.
He is survived by his mother, Kathie Fuiten and husband Kenlie; sons, Spencer and Leyton; sister, Melissa Gillespie and husband Sean; brother, Stephen Franklin and wife Holly; grandmother, Karin Zinders; soul mate Jenni Hibbard; niece Chelsea; nephews, Sean Jr. and Mason, all of Decatur; step-sister, Kenna Garnica and husband Steve of Roscoe, IL; step-brother Dayne Fuiten, and many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Franklin, grandparents Lambert and Ruby Starcher, William and Mae Franklin, and grandfather, Ted Zinders.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 17, 2016, at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg with Rev. Donald Dawson officiating. Interment will be in Coen Cemetery, Clay County, Chloe, West Virginia.
