Robert Leon Kerby, 83, of Pickerington OH, died Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Wesley Ridge in Reynoldsburg.
Born December 14, 1932 in Annamoriah, WV to the late Holly G. and Elizabeth (Gibson) Kerby, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, and was retired from Babcock & Wilcox with 42 years of service.
Survived by his daughter, Deborah (Stephen) Miller, Pickerington; granddaughters, Stephanie (Charles) Clark, and Jennifer (Rachel Roberts) Miller; step-great-grandchildren, Graham, Grace, and Olivia Clark, all of Pickerington; brother, Foster (Janet) Kerby, Spencer WV ; sister-in-law, Phyllis Kerby, Hur WV; brothers-in-law, Rev. Gene Kerby, Oak Hill OH, and Rev. Harold Dusky, Summersville WV; several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Laurine (Kirby) in 2014; sisters, Pauline Duskey, Marie Kerby, Sue Kerby, Linda Kerby; and brother, William C. Kerby.
Friends may visit 6-8 pm Friday at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 550 Hill Road N. (St. Rt. #256), Pickerington, and 11 am to 1 pm Saturday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, WV, where funeral service will follow at 1 pm. Interment with military honors after at Mt. Zion Church Cemetery in Mineral Wells.
