| John Neal Cottle, 81, of Charleston, West Virginia died January 11, 2016 at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston.
John was born October 6, 1934 in Spencer, West Virginia a son of the late Harold and Martha Virginia McKown Cottle. He was a Spencer High School graduate and was a US Army veteran. He formerly worked for Kellwood Company in Spencer and was a plant manager at Diversified in Virginia.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Ruth Jarvis Cottle; a son, Bobby Cottle of Charleston; three sisters, Rebecca Ann Cottle of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Martha Sue Webb of Dayton, Ohio and Paula Jane Cottle of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; a granddaughter, Shannon Nichols of Charleston; and a great-granddaughter, Alexis Nichols. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a brother, David Cottle.
Service will be at 1:00pm Friday, January 15, 2016 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Spencer Memorial Cemetery. |
