| TOMMY GENE DAUGHERTY, 77, of Spencer, West Virginia died unexpectedly at his home on January 9, 2016.
He was born July 23, 1938 in Roane County, West Virginia a son of the late Harry and Rokel Harris Daugherty, Sr. He was retired from Crown Steel in Orrville, Ohio with 32 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Tommy is survived by his companion, Betty Nichols; three sons, David, Charles and Jeffrey Daugherty, all of Ohio; one brother, French "Jake" Harris of Walton, West Virginia; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie Ann Daugherty; a son, Tim Daugherty; a sister, Jo Ann Daugherty; and three brothers, Harry, Bobby and Buddy Daugherty.
Per Tommy's request, there will be a graveside service at noon on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the Clover Cemetery with Pastor Robert Webb officiating. TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements for the Daugherty family.
