A car on fire in an attached garage to a residence could have caused extensive damage Saturday night.
The Grantsville VFD responded to 54 Munday Road at 7:44 p.m., the residence is just off State Route 5.
The homeowners had brought the fire under control as the fire department arrived, the vehicle was heavily damaged.
Minnie Hamilton EMS also responded.
The Grantsville VFD responded to the three story Zannoni (Toepher) apartment building at 2:30 a.m. Sunday where a detector had gone off on the second story.
Firemen indicted it was a carbon monoxide detector that was likely malfunctioning. |
