| The body of an elderly man who was reported missing on Christmas Eve morning has been found in the Elk River in the Strange Creek area of Braxton County.
Braxton County Sheriff Eddie Williams said the body of an 85-year-old man who was reported missing on Thursday was recovered from the Elk River.
Members of the sheriff's office and EMS searched for several hours.
The name of the man has not yet been released. Williams said the man suffered from dementia. |
