| James E. "Gene" Bock, 82, of Creston WV passed away at his residence Tuesday December 22, 2015 after an extended illness.
Gene was the son of the late Lester and Justine Tucker Bock.
He worked at Ravens Metal of Elizabeth for 25 years, then for the Town of Elizabeth until he retired.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nina (Tanner) Bock; son, Daniel (Jennifer) Bock; daughter Mary (Larry) Bock; granddaughter Melissa (Tim) Barker, grandson Matthew (Rita) Dooley;
great-grandchildren, Destiny, Ethan and Kylee Barker; brother, Russell (Geraldine) Bock; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Gene was preceded in death by a sister Janet Dawson and a brother Roger Bock.
Services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, December 28, 2015 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV with the Rev Melvin Boggs officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday December 27, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and 2 Hours Prior to the service on Monday December 28, 2015.
Interment will be at Beatty Cemetery of Burning Springs.
