Savannah Rogers, Calhoun Co. High School senior, finished her high school volleyball career at Woodrow Wilson High School on Dec. 6, after being 1 of 48 WV high school girls volleyball players chosen to play in the 14th Annual North South All-Stars volleyball tournament.
Savannah and her family travelled to Beckley for her to practice and compete in the "Best of the Best" tournament, which she described as a "fun honor and a great experience".
Savannah started her volleyball career as a lettering freshman and returned to the court each year to letter and wrapped up her senior season with a total of 328 kills, 186 points, 22 aces and 78 digs.
She was team captain, made Second Team All LKC and Special Honorable Mention All State this year.
Savannah is the daughter of Wesley and Amy Rogers of Grantsville, the granddaughter of Ron and Jane Carpenter of Five Forks and the late John Rogers and Judy Rogers of Mooresville, NC.
