It was colder than usual, temperatures were in the 20's with a little wind chill, at
Grantsville's annual Christmas Parade. Diehards lined the street to enjoy the CHS Red
Devil band, several floats and the arrival of Santa Claus on a fire truck.
Today was the last day for Hometown Country Christmas, with most vendors saying
sales were brisk this year.
Santa Claus, with an assist from the Lion's Club, greeted area kids and handed out
treats.
