Anna " Florence" Roberts 78, Of Elizabeth WV went to be with the Lord December 10, 2015 at her residence after an extended illness, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born January 27, 1937 the daughter of the late Lawrence and Martha (Valentine) Hardbarger. She was a
member of the Big Island Run Church, loved playing bingo and was an avid Nascar car fan.
Florence was the loving mother of seven children, Tommy Roberts (Ruth), Ray Roberts (Marsha), Patty Roberts, Martha Murray all of Elizabeth, Billy Roberts (Pam) of Killeen TX, and Linda Miller of Davisville WV; aughter-in-law Brenda Roberts of Creston WV; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 2 sisters and 9 brothers; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Joseph Roberts; 1 son, Eddie Roberts, and 1 great grandchild, Tasha.
She was loved and will be greatly missed by all.
Service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2015 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV with the Rev. Tim Bell and Rev. Dean Ash officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. and Monday December 14, 2015 one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Lewis-Roberts Cemetery.
