Harold "Scott" Hathaway, 52, of Parkersburg died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, at Camden Clark Medical Center.
His roots are in Calhoun, the grandson of Homer and Catherine Hathaway of Sycamore.
A 1981 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a 1985 business administration graduate, and co-owners of the family business with his brother T.R. Hathaway of Superior Auto WV Inc.
Hathaway is survived by his parents, Tom and B.J. (Hupp) Hathaway of Vienna; four children, Allison "Paige" Hathaway of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Kennedy Aubrey Hathaway, Regan Joelle Hathaway and Carter Jacob Hathaway, all of Parkersburg; brother, T.R. Hathaway (Sallie) of Vienna; niece, Sarah Hathaway; nephew, Tommy Hathaway; paternal grandmother, Catherine Hathaway of Parkersburg; and longtime companion, Lisa DeGidio.
He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and a member of West Virginia Auto Dealers Association and Worthington Golf Club.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Fellowship Baptist Church with Pastor Jon Lands officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg.
