Dortha Jean Siers, 86, of Chloe WV passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at Clay Health Care Center, Ivydale WV.
She was born in Weston, WV on December 7, 1929, a daughter of the late Ora and Gertrude Lamb Groggs.
She was retired from Westinghouse of Fairmont WV and Rubber Fabricators of Grantsville WV. She was a member of Walker United Methodist Church, Chloe.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ernest Habred Siers; son, Randy (Shelba) Siers of Nebo WV; daughter, Pam (Donnie) Hicks of Chloe; daughter Stacy (Stephen) Lyon of Heaters WV; grandchildren, Kari, Scott, Elizabeth, and Levi; great-grandchildren, Eden, Karigan, Lacy, Gavin, Lidia, Lucas, Landan, Adrian, ChyKaye, and Chase; sisters, Norma Nicholas of Spencer WV and Loretta Gray of Elyria OH; brothers, Ted (Charlotte) Groggs of Stow OH, Bill (Debbie) Groggs of Buckhannon WV, and Mike (Pam) Groggs of Buckhannon, WV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Bob, Frank, Paul, and Bud: and sisters, Sue, Lottie, and Carolyn.
Funeral services will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Dewey Tanner officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in Lamb Cemetery, Chloe. |
