| Renice West Holbert, 92, of Big Bend WV passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Glenville Center, Glenville WV.
She was born February 20, 1923 a daughter of the late Thomas West and Dessie Freshour West Roberts.
She was a member of Odd Fellows Rebekah Lodge #52, member of Eastern Star Grantsville Chapter #73, member of Chapel Baptist Church, Nobe, WV, member of American Baptist Women White Cross Chairman and Sunday School teacher.
She is survived by two children, Richard C. Holbert (Sue) of Fort Madison, Iowa and Judith D. Jones (Charles) of Big Bend; six grandsons; four great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; brother, Darrell Roberts of Burlington, Iowa and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kennard Holbert.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Nobe Chapel Baptist Church, Nobe, WV with Ronzel Roberts officiating. Interment will be in Nobe Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville and one hour prior to the service at the church. |
