HUNTINGTON MAN SHOT IN BOTH LEGS - Police in Huntington say a man showed up at the hospital after he was shot in both legs early Sunday morning. According to dispatch alert records, the victim checked himself into St. Mary's Hospital at about 6 a.m. Sunday.

Huntington Police say the man was shot in both legs, but his injuries aren't life-threatening.

The police chief says the shooting could be drug-related, but it's too early in the investigation to know for sure.

WALMART GUNFIRE - Investigators say an argument between two men in a Walmart store led to gunfire outside in the parking lot in Barboursville.

Cabell County Sheriff Tom McComas says they responded to a shots fired call at the Walmart parking just before 5 p.m. Saturday.

Huntington Police say it's believed shots were fired between two cars.

Investigators say it appears two men started arguing inside Walmart and continued arguing outside in the parking lot.

They haven't specified what the argument was about.

Sheriff McComas says Huntington Police stopped one of the vehicles involved and police are taking statements about what happened.

BURGLAR SHOT DEAD - One man is dead after he attempted to break into a home Belle.

Now police are saying the homeowner knew the burglar.

A release from the Kanawha County Sheriff's Ofice said dispatchers received a call from a homeowner who said he shot a burglar at about 4:25 a.m.

When police arrived on scene, the homeowner was waiting for them. Upon entering the home, they found one man who had been shot in a bedroom of the house.

Emergency responders said the man was dead on the scene. Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.

MARION COUNTY HOLD-UP - Sheriff deputies in Marion County responded to an armed robbery at a convenience store in Marion County on Sunday.

The robbery took place at the 7-Eleven in Rivesville just before 5:30 a.m.

Sheriff deputies haven't released further details about the incident.

ATV HUNTIN' SHOOTIN' - A person has been charged after a shooting in Wilsonburg.

Dallas Robert Moore, 38, of Clarksburg, is charged with malicious assault after deputies said he rammed his van into a four-wheeler attempting to injure the driver.

Moore was involved in an argument with George Casto, Sr., 56, and George Casto, Jr., 32, who were on four-wheelers. Moore rammed Casto, Sr. with his van once and attempted to back up and ram him again.

Before he could ram him again, Casto, Sr. shot into the vehicle hitting Moore's passenger, Shawn Watson, 41, of Clarksburg.

After Watson was shot, Moore drove to the end of Turkey Foot Hollow Road near Wilsonburg Elementary School, and his van quit working, deputies said. Moore then flagged down a passing motorist to get a ride.

The motorist stopped on Route 50, which led to that location being a part of the investigation.

Watson was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital.

and there is no update on his condition at this time. Casto, Sr. was transported to United Hospital Center due to injuries sustained when the van hit his four-wheeler.

The incident is under investigation by Lieutenant Pat McCarty of the Harrison County Sheriff's Department.

MARLINGTON HOMICIDE - Police are looking for a man they're calling a "person of interest" in a double homicide investigation.

West Virginia State Police obtained an arrest warrant for 22 year old Aaron Bussard of Marlinton.

Troopers conducted a welfare check Friday afternoon in Marlinton. and found two homicide victims.

Troopers also discovered a vehicle was missing. That vehicle is a black Honda Pilot bearing West Virginia registration LE09.

An arrest warrant was obtained for Bussard for grand larceny of the vehicle. He's also a person of interest in the double homicide. Bussard has been caught in Virginia.
