| Kristie Jean Thorne, 36, of Newton, West Virginia, died Wednesday, November 25, 2015.
She was born June 6, 1979 at Spencer WV, a daughter of Delmar "Bud" McGlothlin of Newton and the late Claire Ann Taylor McGlothlin.
Kristie was a homemaker and mother. She was a graduate of Roane County High School and Mountain State College.
In addition to her father, survivors include her husband, Tony Thorne of Newton; daughter, Makayla Jean Thorne at home; son Ty Howard Thorne also at home; stepson, Slade Levi Thorne of Clay WV; stepdaughters, Destiny Lee Thorne of Clay and Devin Marie Begler of Newton; stepmother, Betty Sorrell of Newton; brother, Brian McGlothlin of Newton; sister, Donna McGlothlin-Boone of Walton WV.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 29 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Ronald W. Fisher officiating. Burial will be in the family cemetery, Newton.
Friends may visit the funeral home one hour before the service.
