| George A. Marshall, 90, of New Martinsville, a brother to well-known Grantsville resident Leonard Marshall, died December 4, 2002.He was married to Glena Gainer,who survives. She was the daughter of the late Lee and Laura Gainer, having moved from Calhoun in 1936.
George was a long-time teacher at Magnolia High School in New Martinsville, with 41 years in education. He was also a painter and carpenter.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star.
He is also survived by two sons, Roger of Baltimore MD and Neill of New Martinsville.
George Marshall was the son of the late Robert Melville and Myrtle Simmers Marshall.
Funeral arrangements are being completed in New Martinsville.
