| WOMAN STABS MAN - A 61-year-old Clarksburg woman was arrested for stabbing a man Friday morning around 4:45 a.m.
Martha Matheny allegedly ran into Howard Eskew's bedroom and stabbed him approximately 10 times, according to the Harrison County Sheriff's Department.
Matheny ran from the Chipwood Lane residence, where the incident occurred, to her sister's nearby house, where she was arrested.
Matheny is charged with malicious assault, was arraigned in Harrison County magistrate court and is in the North Central Regional Jail.
HealthNet flew the man to Ruby Memorial Hospital with multiple stab wounds, officials saying he was lucky to be alive.
