(11/07/2015)
A Glenville man has been arrested on three counts of fraudulent schemes after West Virginia State Police said he was hired to complete work on people's homes, took the money and did not perform the work.

Eric Williams, 55, is accused of taking $2,228 from a couple to build a porch in July, $2,000 from a man to replace a slab of concrete in June and $5,700 from a man in July 2014 to put a roof on a building, according to a criminal complaint.

In all the cases, Williams promised to complete the work and refund part of the money for taking a while, according to police with no work being done on any of the projects.

Alleged victims told police Williams is the owner of Williams Construction Company of Glenville.
