| Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center is hosting their annual Veterans Appreciation Day today with morning activities starting at 9:30 a.m., a dinner for veterans and afternoon activities at 12:45 p.m. The event is to honor veterans and express appreciation. "We invite all Veterans to join us. We would be delighted to have you speak to our students for a short time, but it is not a requirement. We simply wish to honor you. Please come and enjoy good company and great food," said a school spokesperson. An appreciation luncheon will be prepared by the career center's Pro-start Class and will be served at 11:20 a.m. Please RSVP with Lisa Moore at the Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center at 304-354-6151.
