DARREN PARSONS ENTERS PLEA AGREEMENT - Warrant Issued For Lamp, Not Showing

Calhoun County Prosecuting Attorney Shannon Johnson said that Darren Parsons appeared for a plea hearing in circuit court Monday and plead guilty to Grand Larceny, a felony, and Petit Larceny, a Misdemeanor.

Judge David W. Nibert was presiding.

Parsons is set for sentencing on December 14 after the Probation Officer completes a pre-sentence investigation.

George Nick Parsons appeared for a pretrial hearing on his charges of Petit Larceny, Conspiracy, and Operating a Clandestine Methamphetamine Drug Laboratory and Driving on a Suspended License, Third Offense.

Parsons's case involving Petit Larceny and Conspiracy was dismissed by agreed order as he had already plead to the charges in Magistrate Court.

In other cases involving Parsons's, a driving offense and methamphetamine drug laboratory were continued to November 17th for entry of a plea.

Prosecutor Johnson said William Vandal appeared for a pre-trial hearing. His attorney moved to reduce his bond. The Court reduced his bond to $20,000 surety with his case on charges relating to Grand Larceny and Conspiracy on November 17.

Justin Knight appeared for sentencing. His case was continued to November 19.

February Williams appeared for a pre-trial hearing. Her attorney asked that co-counsel be appointed to assist him in the preparation of her case involving embezzlement. The upcoming trial was rescheduled to March 1, 2016.

Page Forth appeared for a pre-trial hearing relating to her charges of manufacturing marijuana. The hearing was continued to January 25, 2016.

Jeffrey Radabaugh appeared for sentencing on his conviction of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a felony. The imposition of sentence was suspended and he was placed on four years probation. He was ordered to pay a $2.50 supervised probation fee and a $2.50 community corrections fee per month.

Christopher Lamp failed to appear for his sentencing hearing and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest. He is facing charges of sexual abuse, according to prosecutor Johnson.

Joshawa Whipkey appeared for a pre-trial and was re-appointed Teresa Monk as Counsel. His case will come on for Jury Trial on November 17th on charges of possession of precursors to manufacture methamphetamine.

Michael Knicely appeared for a pre-trial hearing. His pre trial hearing was continued to January 25 and his trial was set for March 1 on his charges for driving on a revoked license for DUI, third offense.

The next court date is November 17th with Judge Nibert.
