Pauline Cottrell Miller, 85, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2015 at the Roane General Hospital in Spencer.
She was born August 5, 1930 in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Ray and Louisa Cogar Cottrell.
She was retired from Kellwood Company, enjoyed walking and her flowers, and was a "Grandma" at Spencer Primary School. She was a member of the Gandee Chapel Church and Ladies Aid Group at the church.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Barbara Miller of Liberty, West Virginia; a sister, Madeline Orchide of Ohio; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Miller; a son, Larry Miller; and two sisters.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer. Per Mrs. Miller's request, she will be cremated after the visitation and her ashes buried at the Gandee Chapel/Ward Cemetery near Spencer.
