Ronald Eugene Griffith, 81, of Lancaster SC,
passed to full life in Christ early morning, Oct. 2, 2015.
He was a faithful member and Elder Emeritus at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Van Wyck. He served as president of S.C. Association of Gideon's International in the late 1980s.
Ronald served his country in the U.S. Air Force in Korea. He and his wife, Doris, established Neat 'n Clean Dry Cleaners in Lancaster in 1991. They retired after selling the business.
Ronald was born in Boone County, W. Va., to the late Joseph and Inez Curry Griffith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Diane, and a brother, Robert Griffith.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Doris Weaver Griffith; a son, Mark Patrick Griffith and his wife, Beth; and one lovely granddaughter, Hannah Elizabeth, all of Lancaster.
Two sisters, Miss Vera Griffith and Mrs. Louise Hill, both of Charleston, W. Va.; and two brothers, Larry Griffith and Wayne Griffith, both of Charleston, W. Va.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Griffith is 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Dieter Paulson, former pastor, the Rev. Lou Quiveryn, and the Rev. Mark Griffith officiating.
