| The Grantsville VFD was dispatched to a natural gas leak causing gas to enter a house on 4057 North Calhoun Highway (Rt. 16) at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, according to 911.
The owners indicated they needed help to cut the gas flow.
Hildreth Gas was also responding to the scene to fix the problem.
The Grantsville VFD responded to an electric transformer exploding on Hathaway Street in Grantsville at 3:05 p.m. Thursday, likely causing disruption of service in the area.
There was a power outage for about one hour Thursday evening affecting parts of the county.
A call to a riding lawnmower fire on Sycamore Creek near Millstone was called off, the fire was put out. |
