The Calhoun High School Volleyball girls traveled to
Ritchie on
Thursday evening and was defeated by
the 10-0 Lady Rebels in three games
23-25, 12-25, 17-25.
On Saturday the
Ladies
traveled to Nicholas County to play in a 15 team
tournament. The ladies were defeated in
the
first game by Bridgeport 17-25 and 12-25. The
girls then picked up two wins against
New Life Christian Academy 25-11 and 25-8 and
then beat Lewis County 25-13 and 25-14, before
ending pool play with a loss to Princeton
6-25 and 11-25.
Kayla Lamb was named to the
Nicholas County All Tournament Team.
Calhoun will host
a Varsity
Tri on Tuesday hosting South Harrison and
Braxton County starting at 6 pm and then travel to
Roane
on Saturday for a Varsity 10 team tournament.
