Stephanie (Penny) Ayers Stalnaker, 55, of Parkersburg, passed away September 10, 2015, at the Camden Clark Medical Center.
She was born, March 7, 1960, in Spencer, W.Va., the daughter of the late Francis and Georgia Ayers.
Penny was a 1978 graduate of Parkersburg High School, and worked the last 15 years for Energizer Battery in Marietta. She was a member of the Hallmark Club, former member of the Pioneer Corvette Club, an admirer of the art of Thomas Kincaid, an avid doll collector, an Elvis Presley fan and dearly loved her dogs, Bear and Bandit.
She is survived by her husband Jeffrey Stalnaker, whom she married on August 4, 1979; one son, Jonathan Scott Stalnaker (Nicole) of Davisville, W.Va.; one sister, Sonjia Cline (Donald) of Sistersville, W.Va.; one brother, Francis Ayers, Jr. (Paula) of Davisville, W.Va.; four nephews, Brandon Ayers, Jesse, Joseph and James Cline; as well as several additional nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Ayers.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, September 14, 2015, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg, WV, with Pastor Keith Hostutler officiating. Burial will follow at the Starcher Cemetery in Calhoun County. Visitation will be from 2-8 Sunday, September 13, 2015, at the funeral home. |
